Our ideal candidate has at least some basic experience with UX/UI design and is ready to start with simple design tasks — creating responsive designs, transferring designs from iOS to Android, preparing assets for developers, working on basic UX flows, and the like — while constantly developing their skills to tackle more complex design challenges soon.
Your Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of basic UX methods and tools
- Understanding of HCD principles
- At least 1 year of UI/UX design, product design, or graphic design experience, with a portfolio to prove it
- Proficiency with Sketch or Figma, plus Adobe tools
- Strong technical understanding of the subject to communicate designs to engineers
- Knowledge of iOS and Android design guidelines
- English at an Upper Intermediate/Advanced level — a must, since our product owners are English-speaking and designers are part of the product team
- Detail orientation, a love of typography, and consistent use of grid markup
Your background should also include:
- An academic certificate in design, digital arts, or a related field
- Proficiency in prototyping tools (InVision, Principle, etc.)
- The ability to prioritize design tasks
